St. Paul's, Adventure Bay

The first church was built in 1905 but was destroyed by fire in 1927. The present weatherboard church was built about a couple of Kilometres away in 1933

I had a month on Bruny Island and took services here, St. Peter's, Barnes Bay; St. Mark's, Dennes Point; St. Michael and All Angels at Lunawanna.

Dennes Point and Lunawanna Churches are no longer there.

St. Peter's, Barnes Bay
There have been several churches at Barns Bay. The first was used as a school and church.
The present church was built because the previous one was burnt in the 1967 bush fires.(The second time their church had been burnt down)
It is not used very often now.
St Barnabas, Lady Barron

Flinders Island had 3 churches and only 2 are used now. St. Albans and St. Barnabas. St John's Emita is not used now.

St. Barnabas was originally at Badger Corner and in 1941 it was transferred to Lady Barron. It was a weatherboard hall but has since been renovated and bricked up.

This photo was taken when I was a Deaconess

All Saints, King Island

This was erected in 1913. The photo was takenby mt sister at my farewell and induction of Rev'd Eric Cave.
